Throughout the years much has been written about spaces, the gaps between. If I am here and you are there, what is between us. If that is there and this is here, what may bring them together. There is so very much which may be done with that to which resides between. Appears at times to be our primary purpose.

Much of the time concerns of what, why & how dominate. What is between, why is it, how do we remove or replace, the contemplation’s for these from those with purpose. To fill or replace that which resides is our role.

The Internet being so new and vibrant is the perfect  subject, beginning as a haven for holistic communication to what it is today. Wherever communication or a medium for exchange is present, it is certain that commerce will appear. The initial intent may have been to improved upon the connection between the many with, to those who want. But spaces need to be filled as our nature and history exhibit, for this is where opportunity resides.

The space between Seller &  Buyer may be expanding, if not how could so much within materialize. Connectors to which for a fee offer (with uncertainty) to nudge a seller in proximity of a buyer. Through limitless effort termed as marketing, advertising, lead generation, targeting and alike, this ever expanding space formed it’s barrier with a toll to pass. Now not many upon the Internet may see it in this way, be it not the 1st. time by the masses we have been so conditioned.

Now imagine the Internet as it is and a way around to it’s side. An alternative connection to every buyer and relevant seller, absent the wall, net or toll to pass. Connection as are under construction as we speak, a short path with little space for the purposeful to meet.

Facebook’s update, the so-called super charged open graph and semantic web experience are here. Not a big surprise, any who are involved in research of the Internet could have predicted this and more. Up to this point, they appear to be doing what Microsoft had done for years with various “new” versions of windows. We were inched along slowly just enough to impress but nowhere near their real capacity.

The open graph is here to stay for those who take part (which are aplenty). The offering & service monitors user activity and intentions (‘using’, ‘searching’, ‘wanting’, ‘shopping’, ‘watching’, ‘playing’, ‘reading’ and listening’) to the Open Graph via app integration. Every action you take will be noted, examined and acted upon like no other. It’s official, the internet has turned into an interactive television. The only difference is this TV knows everything you do, Internet privacy is forever gone.

Why is this all being done? What need(s) does it solve? The 1st. and primary reason is to create advertising and marketing revenue. I can see (or hear) the Facebook sales pitch on this already, but don’t blame me for telling you “It’s all about the money”.

So how will it work? It’s pretty simple really. You show (by your behavior online) an interest in (for example) “Digital Camera’s”, and presto magico offerings and ads begin showing up in a whole bunch of creative ways. Why?, because Facebook told some camera provider that they (for a fee) will be given a “Chance” to capture your attention.

While thinking more of this and other forms of tactics like. I walked within about 5 to 6 feet of my front door, the dog (a very ambitious lab) jumps up and blazes a path to the door. Due to past behavior (Facebook open graph) he thought I was going outside where he very much desired to go. He (as many advertisers discover) was disappointed to realize (after his energy investment) that I was actually navigating towards the bathroom. This and many other fun little exercises comically take place often. Walk near the dog food and get ready to be greeted by a galloping, panting, happy bundle of joy with a waggly tail. Drive by any Dairy Queen and soon discover almost every child apparently must work for, loud proclamations in favor of are advertised (painstakingly so) for what some may call an eternity. So I could go on more with this but I’m sure you all get the picture, these conditioned responses are nothing new and have been applied since the dawn of time (especially to animals).

Now as you can imagine, we here at About2Buy are overjoyed as to the “all about the money” direction Facebook has taken with. For even though there is a whole bunch of creative math associated with the execution of, the strategy is no more intuitive than ancient man hiding behind a bush in close proximity to a “wild game path” anticipating dinner may walk by at any moment.

So as this “offensive” dumbing down of our intellect continues, Facebook (Mans best friend) in one fell swoop just “removed the Fourth of July from the calendar”. Now that’s impressive!

Ok so what is the error?

Answer: Consumers Fragmented Pursuits.

So what is a commerce pursuit?

Answer: Random searching, review reading, discussions and the various acts associated with the certain acquisition of a product or service.

So what is the proposed error control?

Answer: A process by which random, fragmented (commerce) pursuits are harnessed and redirected to establish reliable organization.

What is the error correction?

Answer: Detect the “noise” (fragmented pursuits), organize and re-energize for the production of a successful result.

Why are we addressing this concern?

Because the internet currently may provide more net profit to advertising (and all related) as a whole than product selling. This could cause conversions (in all actuality) to be unattractive. For when a consumer converts, the quest is over and advertising (and related revenue) cease in relationship too.

Clarification: To all that are involved in the advertising and marketing chain (excluding conditional affiliates), it is more profitable when the consumer does not convert for an extended period of time.

So the argument from here can commence, who in the process deserves more of the profit?  The product provider who acquires and provides the item or the advertiser who through various channels produces the consumer?

Interesting how people congregate around an effort. When doing so on a formal basis much of the time these congregations are named “Enterprises”. A way for those interested in shared endeavor(s) to join up and work towards mutual goals. These enterprises have strategy implemented from the top with various tasks of which have expected deliverable’s attached to them. In doing so these congregations (if dictated the correct strategy) succeed quite well and everyone gets paid on a consistent basis.

OK, so now that I have you interested enough to begin the second paragraph, I’ll let you know where I’m headed in all this. Why do enterprise endeavors (when implemented well) have such a strong track record of success? In contrast why is it so difficult for non enterprise individuals or entities to attain success especially upon the internet? I guess we would need to define success prior to passing judgment, but this is why so many companies are designing software for the “enterprise” currently.

The Internet of which the average Joe or Cindy access is of course utilized free of charge excluding some very reasonable online access fee’s. Due to this structure many sites we utilize upon the web to assist our endeavors have somewhat of a hidden agenda. In doing so each entity is stating (by their structure and behavior) come use our stuff but we are going to try and use you in an attempt to make a profit. Like television (but much more advanced) we in an incredible amount of creative ways are in one way or another being herded about like prized cattle from one pasture to another. Our success in what we intend to do is entirely placed into the hands of all these entities and we are forced to attempt to attain success according to their strategy and not our own. No wonder talented developers are jumping ship and moving out of the public or consumer arena (into enterprise development), it’s a highly manipulated playing field of which is getting much more difficult to introduce solutions too which will provide a successful experience to their (potential) users free from the influences of the Facebook’s and alike. There really is no way other than to “opt out” of the current imbalanced Internet system. And opting out they are and in an incredible amount of ways, but the average internet user is many times being left behind to fend for themselves in the abyss.

I mean really how long does it take (when in need of a product) to sort through all the disinformation, competing offers and other methods of funneling (you as a consumer) into a specific “Lair” so to speak? To tell you the truth I am (anymore) increasingly offended. All I want is to find real data about an item of interest, a (complete and entire) list of outlets to acquire said item along with price and a safe but incredibly easy way to pay. <= here’s the period at the end again.

Now this simplified, efficient and to tell you the truth very “healthy to our planet” proposition is now impossible for any to ask for anywhere on the open internet. Content advertising and all that surrounds it (social and not) has become (for lack of more kind words) a haven for “commercial sociopath’s”. The only way for any and all to resist as to preserve the true holistic commerce environment is unfortunately to “Opt Out” of the open internet all together. That’s right, a way for those who are inclined to change their playgrounds and playmates as to be more appropriately exposed to a more rewarding atmosphere. A place where one can become their own enterprise as to create their own strategy to ensure success, while gaining access to a real and true marketplace that places the “dignity of the consumer” at the forefront. This is what we have developed here at About2Buy and we so very much hope you all will be attracted to and use what we feel will be a highly successful venue for all to participate in.
